Wedding photography can be seen as a blend of art and emotion. In it we aim to capture every moment, from the fleeting to the timeless.
One abstract concept in wedding photography is the idea of “visual storytelling”. Not only do we document the events of the day, but also weave a narrative that that reflects the unique journey of this particular couple and the emotions of their loved ones who are part of their lives.
So as Photographers, how do we highlight the intimacy between the couple or convey the energy and excitement of the wedding celebration? An often used technique is called “negative space”, used to highlight the intimacy between the couple. Another is called “motion blur” used to capture the movement of people, the buzz and excitement of the wedding event.
